A radiation protection door is a type of door used for radiation protection. With the increasing number of hospital staff, radiation protection doors have become widely used. These doors prevent radiation from entering or exiting and are mainly used in special locations such as hospitals and computer rooms. However, radiation protection doors require installation. So, how should a radiation protection door be installed?
First, the door must be manufactured and installed according to regulations. Before installation, the location, quantity, and dimensions of the door should be carefully verified at the construction site, and the manufacturer should be responsible for ensuring the production quantity and dimensions are accurate.
Place the completed door into the doorway. If necessary, the door leaf can be removed, ensuring the inner edge of the door is flush with and perpendicular to the wall. If necessary, correct the flatness of the wall.
Vertically position the side frame of the door, ensuring all points and surfaces are on the same plane.
After the door frame is in place, check its verticality, horizontality, and diagonal dimensions. Adjust according to design requirements, ensuring the installation height and distance from the inner and outer walls are consistent, and the top and bottom width of the door frame are uniform.
When installing the radiation protection door, adjust the vertical position of the locks to ensure a uniform gap between the door leaf and the door frame, then secure it.
Temporarily fix the door frame with bolts and double-check to ensure accurate installation dimensions.
After the cement grout or foam adhesive has dried, remove all gaskets and washers.
Strictly following the installation sequence is crucial when installing the radiation protection door. However, before installing the door frame, carefully measure the dimensions on-site and verify them against the drawings and relevant design changes to ensure accuracy and technical transparency. Determine the opening direction; the door frame installation must strictly adhere to the design and relevant specifications. After installation, always check that the installed radiation protection door opens and closes smoothly.
